We're back with the fourth and final episode of Tales From Albuquerque! Early on in the process of setting up our Patreon, we had the wild idea of putting together a miniseries that told the story of Doctor Herbert West's time in the distant city of Albuquerque. We would give this corner of the world of Our Fair City to a group of the best writers and designers the Audio Drama community has to offer, and see what bizarre tales they would create. Thanks to your support through Patreon, it is now a reality! This miniseries, told Rashomon style around a campfire by some of your favorite (or most reviled) characters. We hope you enjoy it, and thank you to all our listeners and especially our supporters on Patreon for making it possible. Content Warnings for this episode can be found here.

I detest these Liminals. The collaborations between Rogue Scientists and Rebel Policies will never bear the sweet fruit of Truth that the works of the HartLife Corporation do! ================== HartLife NFP is at a pivotal point in its life. With Season Eight, we are bringing Our Fair City to a close, and ramping up work on our next show. We've got a Dr. West miniseries in the works. We've never been busier. That work is possible in large part to the support we get from listeners and fans on Patreon. Some of them give $1 a month. Some of them have donated a year’s worth of algae bars. And to thank those amazing folks we like to share special insider treats. If you haven’t already become a Patreon supporter we’ve got an extra push. When we reach $650, we will release three scripts from Andrew Snidge’s audio drama “Adventures in Science!” (as transcribed by Jim McDoniel) on our Patreon feed for all our backers! Even better: these will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution/Non-commercial License. Want to record your own Adventures in Science? Make a comic? Use it in some other medium? Those who would deface the tower, inside and out, must be punished. The poisonous words of the Hendersonians are just as dangerous- if not more so - as the grapple-cannons of the StormHawks and the mandibles of their Ant allies. Resist the urge to feel any sympathy for these traitors and Outsiders, Loyal Policy- and HartLife will reward you. Welcome, Loyal Polices, to the Mid-Season Break! While the MolePeople are busy editing the second half of the season, we've got some fun stuff to share with you. Today we've got two songs used in the background of the show, either in Al's bar or on the radio, adapted and recorded by the cast, crew, and friends of Our Fair City. First, we have "Haul Away Mole," a MolePerson Dirt Shanty (adapted from the traditional tune "Haul Away Joe"), followed by "Rolling Down to Tunnel Three," a Lightning Rigger working song (adapted from Stan Rogers' classic "Rolling down to Old Maui"). If you’d like to support HartLife NFP and Our Fair City, please consider making a pledge to our Patreon campaign at http://www.patreon.com/hartlif

Each level of the Tower is different. Amenities and environments are tailored to the needs of the Policies who dwell there. Of course the Managerial class requires a greater degree of comfort than tunnel dwelling Policies. How else would our society function? The intricate, careful work of the Vice Presidents, Managers, and other leaders requires a clear head and gentle life. You would not disturb this careful balance by demanding more than is your due, would you Loyal Policy? Of course not.
We'll be going on our mid-season break after this episode, but never fear- there will be non-episode releases every other week during the hiatus, including blooper reels, a Halloween Special written by Wolf 359's Gabriel Urbina, and more. Regular episodes of Our Fair City will resume on November 23, 2016. Loyal Policies- we all have our place in HartLife. The Directors guide us, fulfilling their immortal will as our Founders and Protectors. StreetSafe observes us at all times, making sure we are true in action to what resides in all of our hearts. The Actuaries prognosticate, prophesying the continued success of the Company as its will resounds through the ages. It is a M.O.L.E.'s job to serve, to follow orders, and to obey. Nothing else. Listen with horror as one M.O.L.E. violates this sacred dictum, with terrifying results. Loyal Policies- there is no chance for a fulfilling life outside of HartLife. Whatever you may hear in these recordings today- know that all Outsiders, whatever security or peace they may appear to have created for themselves, will die cold, lonely deaths in the frozen wastes outside our walls. The Outside is dark, and full of wolves. The Outside is dark, and full of wolves. The Outside is dark, and full of wolves. Listen, and remember. Every year, the Loyal Policies of HartLife celebrate Exclusion Day: the day the glorious founders of the Company sealed the tower away from the cold, Wolves, and dangers of the Outside, protecting their Policies from here to eternity. By Excluding the outside world, Loyal Policies would never be exposed to dangers like Free Thought, New Ideas, or Innovation. This musical episode was recorded live at iO Chicago with Improvised Star Trek on December 18, 2015. We'd like to make a special note here: this Holiday season, the themes of exclusion, refugees, and societal control through xenophobia are everywhere in the news. We'd like to take the opportunity to raise awareness for several great organizations that are working to provide opportunities and help for refugees in American and around the world. Here in Chicago, we'd recommend supporting RefugeeOne, which you can learn more about at refugeeone.org--they're a great organization dedicated to creating opportunities for refugees fleeing war, terror, and persecution to build new lives of safety, dignity, and self-reliance. Globally, Doctors without Borders is a fantastic organization, helping people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care. You can find their organization online at doctorswithoutborders.org. Finally, we recommend supporting the TransLatin@ Coalition, whose mission is to advocate for the specific needs of Trans Latin@ immigrants who reside in the US and plan advocacy strategies that would improve their quality of life. Support them and learn more at http://www.

Charles Wynn: Project Manager, loyal policy, and hero of small children everywhere. Many stories have been told about his life, his works, his efforts on behalf of the company. For the first time ever, we are pleased to bring you an accurate recounting of his time Outside during the Ant Wars.
